The second time I saw you,
my heart stopped beating,
As it reminisced the moment,
when you leaved me crying.

The second time I saw you,
I knew it was still you,
who promised me things,
which turned to bitter lies.

The second time I saw you,
I was trying to pretend
of not loving you at all,
But my heart didn't follow.

The second time I saw you,
I wanted to find answers
of many queries in mind,
Cause I felt like dying inside.

The second time I saw you,
Could you please tell me now
the true meaning of happy,
To fill the emptiness in me?

I thought it was better,
not to welcome you anymore,
with my two open arms.
Yet I was wrong,
for my heart forgave already,
Giving you a second chance.
