Photographs Of The Past

Past, hide not yourself
in fading photographs.
Don't give me a chance,
to take a simple glance
On yesterday's memories,
which I disgust to reminisce.
Cease alluring my mind,
with all thy abusive lies.

Past, mask not yourself
in evanescent photographs.
Bury it instead on place
of the forgotten grave.
Better get out of my sight,
you do offer no light.
Stop playing emotions,
with all your delusions.

Past, disguise not yourself
on the photographs' image,
Treating it like a rusty cage.
Don't ever dare chasing me,
for all these scars to heal.
Take it as a reminder,
you can never last longer,
I'll hold the present tighter.
