Near Yet So Far
by Michael Badebadz on Thursday, 03 February 2011 at 06:35
I've been waiting all this time,
for you to come in my life,
Staying both heart and mind,
and making me feel alive.
I'm longing to hold your hand,
touching its soft textured palm,
Feeling the heat of burning sand,
as destiny leads us in Neverland.
I always wanna see your smile,
Its luminosity shines at me so bright,
Despondence can't swallow the night,
Showing how ideal it is and right.
You're next to me in animating my coldness.
You're adjacent to diminish darkness.
You're so near to let me taste
the pleasure of your sweet caress.
But these magical illusions are useless,
can't meet my expectations of happiness,
living in place of arousing sadness,
No wonder this enshrouded feeling
of mine can't be even confessed.
