Behind The Mask
by Michael Badebadz on Sunday, 09 January 2011 at 03:05
Something inside me remains,
it never fades like a stain,
I wanna cry outside the rain,
for no one can see me in pain.
When everything gets down,
and life breaks its gold crown,
I'm gonna act funny as a clown,
for no one can notice me frown.
All things may collide,
where there's nobody to find,
I'll be trying my best to hide,
for no one will recognize,
that I'm softly dying inside.
Nothing exists for a long time,
it'll somehow stay for a while,
But then, I'll just smile,
for no one will know,
I'm living in a pathetic life.
It's really perplexing to say,
how every little thing goes astray,
realizing it's slowly crushing away,
But I'll wear then my mask,
for no one will be bothered
and have courage to ask.
